Those jobs impact and better the communities and primary region where we live. At a time of economic uncertainty, the Cherokee Nation has continued to grow and thrive, and the result is we are one of the largest employers in Oklahoma, with more than 8,500 folks on our payroll.

- Created more than 5,000 jobs—3,500 of which came from new businesses
- Expanded business operations into gaming, hospitality, cultural tourism, aerospace, health, security, IT, manufacturing, environmental, telecommunications and personnel services.
- Increased the minimum wage to $9/hour at all tribal entities with full fringe benefits.
